Welcome back to FootyReMarcs where we take football as seriously as Manchester United take trophy celebrations.
Europe is gearing up for a European final of the ages, the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest! Word on the northern streets is that Manchester United will host a BBQ in place of the traditional open top bus parade if they win the Europa League on Thursday, ensuring that the roasting in Manchester carries on. Not everyone is happy though, "We got nothing but an overpriced beef burger!" said one angry fan, presumably about the signing of Casemiro.
This weekend is the final of the FA Cup between Man City and Crystal Palace. The final takes place at Wembley Stadium, where I was last week to watch my local team Whitstable Town FC lift the FA Vase. Below is a picture I took which accurately shows the number of Man City fans that will be in attendance for the FA Cup final.

Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold was booed and jeered by Liverpool fans when he came on as a sub against Arsenal. Looks like he's walking alone all the way to Madrid. When he finally arrives at Madrid it will be under new management with Ancelotti set to leave the club, and Liverpool & Madrid legend Xabi Alonso set to take over.
Last week the world gathered in celebration of David Attenborough's 99th birthday. The British broadcasting legend recalled some of his favourite memories which included travelling the world, documenting species for the very first time and even playing football with James Milner when they were both young children. "David was always fond of animals, if he cared for football as much as he did animals he could have been lifting the World Cup with Bobby Moore" said Milner.
Just a quick one this week, I have a proper open bus parade to attend in Whitstable. Pray for the Mancunians!
